1, the lining should have a certain high temperature strength

2, the thermal conductivity of the lining should be small, and the conductivity should be low
In the process of intermediate frequency furnace smelting, the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the furnace wall is very large, and about 10% to 15% of the heat is lost through the furnace wall. In order to reduce heat loss and improve thermal efficiency, the lining material should have a low thermal conductivity. 3, the furnace lining refractory material should be excellent
The temperature of molten steel can reach more than 1700, and the temperature of molten steel can reach more than 1500. Therefore, the lining material of the intermediate frequency furnace should have excellent refractoriness, and the lining material that meets the melting temperature or withstand local frequent high temperature should be selected according to the melting material.
4, the chemical stability of the lining is good
In use, slag erosion is a common form of refractory damage. In actual use, more than 59% of the damage of furnace lining materials is caused by the erosion of slag. Therefore, slag resistance is also one of the important standards for intermediate frequency furnace lining materials. Intermediate frequency furnace lining should be in contact with high temperature molten metal, high vacuum, high (acid) basic slag, not decomposing and reducing, not participating in chemical reaction, good chemical stability.
5, furnace lining thermal shock resistance should be good
Intermediate frequency furnace lining should also have good resistance to quenching and heat resistance, and can adapt to the rapid changes in temperature and pressure from high temperature melting to steel production process, and the stress on the furnace lining wall without cracking. The better the thermal shock resistance, the longer the service life of the lining.
6, furnace lining to meet environmental requirements
